We believe relationship drives everything. Scripture calls us to loving, correcting, and bearing burdens together. (Hebrews 10:24–25; Galatians 6:2). At Faith Community Church we seek to:
• Cultivate authentic community — we build regular, meaningful connections where faith is practiced together (Hebrews 10:24–25).
• Practice sacrificial hospitality — we welcome others and serve with Christlike love (John 13:34–35; Romans 12:13).
• Bear one another’s burdens — we commit to prayerful, practical care and honest presence (Galatians 6:2).
We prioritize helping people grow into mature followers of Jesus through regular teaching, intentional mentoring, and serving together (Matthew 28:19–20; 2 Timothy 2:2). As a church we strive to:
• Teach Scripture faithfully — we center learning on God’s Word so every believer is formed by gospel truth (Colossians 1:28; Hebrews 5:12–14).
• Equip disciples to serve — we train and release people to use their gifts for the church and the world (Ephesians 4:11–13; Matthew 28:19–20).
• Multiply mature leaders — we invest in mentoring and reproducible disciple‑making so faith is passed on to the next generation (2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 2:3–5).
Our church is led by a team of elders who follow New Testament instructions for teaching, guarding the gospel, and caring for the flock (Titus 1; 1 Peter 5). They lead prayerfully, with Scripture as the guiding authority (Acts 20:28). One elder serves as our head pastor, functioning as a "leader among equals." Together they oversee the life and health of the church, especially in these areas:
• Providing pastoral care — elders tend the flock with humility and willingness, offering prayer, counsel, and presence (1 Peter 5:2–4).
• Delivering sound teaching — elders teach and protect the faith so the church remains rooted in Christ (Titus 2:1; 2 Timothy 4:2).
• Practicing mutual accountability — elders lead together, submitting to one another and to God’s Word (Hebrews 13:17; Philippians 2:3–4).
